Water Costs Skyrocket 1000% Where Food Is Grown

This article by JD Heyes says that water costs have skyrocketed 1,000% where half the US's fruits, vegetables and nuts are grown. Food production and water availability are intimately linked, so as bloomberg recognizes , aquaponics is something we should be looking at since it uses drastically less water than traditional agriculture.

If you're interested in learning more about how to grow food using aquaponics, our next workshop will be held on August 23, 2014.
